Babysitter's Training - Novato, CA 2026

Description The American Red Cross is the nation’s leader in babysitting classes and child care TRAINING – and will prepare you to become one of the most capable, trusted and in-demand sitters in your neighborhood. Designed for those ages 11 through 16, topics include choosing age-appropriate activities, basic child care, like bottle feeding, child behavior, leadership, professionalism, safety, starting a babysitting business, and more. Participants who complete the Red Cross requirements will receive a digital certification. THIS CLASS DOES NOT INCLUDE A CPR AND FIRST AID CERTIFICATION. This class will have a lunch break, please bring a bag lunch/snacks. ------------------------- Novato Parks & Recreation reserves the right to modify or cancel any program, class, or event for any reason. Participants will be notified immediately of such changes. Full refunds will be issued for a program altered or canceled by the City. Refund and/or transfer requests must be made at least one week prior to the start of the program and approved by the program Supervisor. An $8 registration fee and $5 processing fee ($13 total) will be deducted from the total cost of the refunded program.
